If you don’t want to spend the whole day on the beach, a combination with a visit to Willemstad is the perfect solution. Willemstad consists of two parts: Punda and Otrabanda. These are separated by the Sint Anna bay. You have multiple options to move from one side to the other. On foot via the Queen Emma Bridge or by car via the 56.4 meter high Queen Julianabridge. Is the Queen Emma Bridge open? Then as a pedestrian you can easily take the free ferry that moors right next to the bridge, when the bridge is open this ferry goes up and down so you certainly do not have to worry about being stuck.
