Current situation Covid19 Curacao

Latest update: 3 September 2021.

At the moment, in addition to the obligations of a mouth cap in the shops and a curfew at 00:00, there are no extra measures on Curacao. However, the PCR test and an antigen test are still mandatory.

What to do before departure to Curacao:

Throug the website digicard Curacao you can upload / fill in 48 hours before departure the following documents:

  1. Your PCR test with a negative result
  2. Complete a health declaration form
  3. Complete the PCL (Passenger Locater form) form
  4. Appointment Antigen test on Curacao: All travelers from a high risk area who come to Curacao have an antigen test done three days after arrival. The appointment must be made 48 hours before departure via the online registration for the Passenger Locator Card (so you can choose your location when filling in the PCL form). Excluded are children under the age of 12 who do not have covid symptoms. The cost of an Antigen test is around 16.50 euros.
    You must also bring all these documents printed out with you.
    These are checked by the airline at check in and also on arrival by Customs on Curacao.

1. PCR TEST Covid 19

  • To travel, you must have to do a PCR test 48 hours before departure. The result is checked by the airline before departure and must be printed out. On arrival on Curacao, the result may not be older than 3 days. Only children up to 1 year are exempt. If the result is negative, you can travel to Curacao without quarantine obligations.

Travel insurance covid19

  • You must be able to demonstrate that you have travel- medical insurance so that you are covered against any medical costs on Curacao. * Tip: Make sure that your insurance has world coverage.

Once at Curacao

  • During your flight it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask. Bring enough face masks, also for your flight back home. On Curacao it is mandatory to wear a mouth mask in shops and supermarkets
  • On Curacao, everyone is asked to adhere to the ‘social distancing’ agreements, in the interest of public health.
  • In public spaces and on the public road and beaches groups of up to 4 people are allowed

Update after June 8:

As long Curacao has a ‘code yellow’ (safe traveling) you can cancel due our cancellation policy.
When Curacao becomes ‘code orange’ (travel warning) you can rebook / cancel for free. If Curacao would appear on the orange code, it is still possible to travel to Curacao! If you do not want this, you can move your booking to another time free of charge or receive the money back.
